In addition, so that we can accommodate our neighbors and others who did not have the chance to plan in advance, we set aside a small number of tables on a "first-come first-served" basis.


Please do not expect to be seated without a wait, especially during peak times -- but we will always try our hardest.

Kind People, please note:

We are in no way anything like a Ruth's Chris or a Morton's. In fact, we do everything possible to be the opposite of a fancy DC fine-dining restaurant.

We do strive each and every day to serve the best, house-aged, house-butchered, hand-trimmed we can, in the most honest, timely and affordable way we know how.

As a result, our style of service is informal and at times quite busy--and not to everyone's liking.

If luxury accommodations and exquisite service are important to your dining needs, we strongly recommend another one of the region's many, many finer steakhouses and superior restaurants.

If you do decide to try us out, we promise to work our hardest to reward your decision with great steaks and seafood at fair and honest prices.

PARKING: We validate parking for the garage located on the N. Adams Street side of the building.

Hours Of Operation:

Monday-Friday Open at 5:30PM

Saturday & Sunday Open at 5:00PM


Currently, we do not have a dedicated bar or waiting area. We do offer a limited selection of spirits, beer and wine during your meal. If you plan to have drinks prior to your designated reservation time, we recommend visiting our neighbors.  La Verre is a great wine bar. Or Fireworks is a great full service bar with a large selection of craft beers.

CORKAGE  Please Note: Due to increased and escalating abuse, we are no longer able to permit corkage. We offer a varied and reasonably priced selection of wines to compliment and enhance our steaks. Save the good stuff for home!

Dear Guests,

This Holiday Season we will not be able to book Private Events or Large Parties via the Internet or telephone.  To book groups of 8 up to 25 guests, please visit us in person at the restaurant between 4pm and 11pm.
